Classical Immunology

Classical immunology is the study of the relationship between pathogens, body systems, and immunity. It deals with the fields of epidemiology and medicines. The immunology is the study of how organism response to the antigen challenges. It manages the various defense mechanisms of organisms like chemical, physical, and biological properties. The immune response is initiated by the antigen substance present in the body. The cells recognize secrete antibodies and antigens.

The term humoral response defines the interaction between antigens and antibodies. The antigens are the substances that provoke the generation of antibodies. And antibodies are the unique proteins released by certain classes of immune cells in the human body.

The immune response contributes to developing various disorders like metabolic, cardiovascular, cancer, and neurodegenerative conditions. The classical immunology created the base for the modern discoveries for fighting multiple immunological diseases and infections.

Molecular Immunology

The molecular immunology is related to the immune responses at the molecular and cellular levels. It offers a better understanding of sub-cellular immune responses for treatments and preventions of various immune diseases and disorders. Antigen Processing

The immune disorder results in over or low activity of the immune systems. In the overactivity of immune systems, the body attacks and damages its own tissues. These disorders are generally known as autoimmune diseases. The immune systems’ low activity decreases the body’s ability to fight invaders that cause the infections.

The mismatch between host species and pathogens occurs when the animal pathogens infect a human.

The body generates an antigen-specific or non-specific response when the foreign antigens enter the body. The immunopathology refers to the process of how a foreign antigen causes the immune systems to respond. The faults in the immune systems can lead to severe illness or diseases.

Transplant immunology

Transplant immunology is an immune response study. It is related to the response produced when a tissue or organ is grafted or transplanted from one individual to another. The recipient body’s immune system views the grated tissues as foreign tissues and attacks it, which might cause a significant problem during tissue or organ transplantation.
